Preactor International and DynaSys forge strategic partnership to supply World Class Supply Chain Solutions
15 October 2007

October 2007, Chippenham, UK: Preactor International, the leading independent provider of production planning and scheduling solutions and DynaSys, European leader in Supply Chain Planning solutions, today announced the completion of a partnership agreement for the distribution of the complete range of Preactor solutions.

According to the terms of the agreement, DynaSys will be able to offer the Preactor as a natural and complementary extension of its own functionality to companies requiring a complete “end to end” Supply Chain Management solution. Preactor’s detailed planning and scheduling technology dovetails seamlessly with DynaSys’ n.SKEP solution which provides strategic and tactical supply chain planning. By offering Preactor alongside n.SKEP, DynaSys will be able to meet the full requirements of company’s needing to address planning and scheduling issues at both the global Supply Chain and local Shop Floor level.

In return, n.SKEP will be introduced by Preactor to its entire global partner network which now comprises 300 partners wherever there is interest in providing a demand planning solution. This will allow any Preactor partner to offer n.SKEP in conjunction with Preactor where customers have this requirement. Preactor’s continuing growth in the European market which is DyanSys’ primary market will also enable DynaSys to develop this market faster while also providing natural expansion routes into global markets.

Mike Novels, CEO of Preactor International, comments on the deal: “Preactor and DynaSys each have over 15 years proven experience in providing successful solutions that address vital elements of supply chain planning. Our respective solutions are recognised as ‘best of breed’ and have a very natural complementary nature. This partnership with DynaSys will offer our customers the additional functionality that n.SKEP brings such as detailed demand forecasting and supply chain planning. When added to Preactor’s detailed production planning and scheduling, this offers a complete solution for companies in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and other markets.” He continues, “There is great pressure in industry to compete with low cost economies by reducing costs and synchronising production with the supply chain. Best of breed products like n.SKEP and Preactor that can be easily integrated with a manufacturer’s existing IT investment are recognised by analysts around the world as one of the best way of achieving increased competitiveness.”

Patrick Bourgeois, Sales and Marketing Director of DynaSys, adds: “The flexibility and power of Preactor’s tools enable them to be seamlessly integrated into both our existing and future projects. Both solutions are also easily integrated with a wide range of ERP systems including SAP, ORACLE, BAAN, MOVEX, QAD, SAGE, JDE, JEEVES and many more. We can now therefore offer our customers with a complete solution for planning and controlling their production flows, at a strategic, tactical or operational level.”
