Bevan Group, a leading UK manufacturer of commercial vehicle bodies, is aiming to improve business agility and swifter customer responses with a centralised and fully-integrated SYSPRO ERP solution from K3 Business Technology Group.

With a SYSPRO manufacturing, financial and distribution system, Bevan Group will gain the advantage of a powerful, easy to use software solution that brings visibility across its manufacturing operations, improving efficiencies, reducing costs and supporting the company’s expanding business.

“We shortlisted three companies for demonstration and evaluation. Not only did SYSPRO stand out as superior, but the K3 project team created a clear picture of how the proposed solution would benefit our business,” said Lee Dimmock, Group Operations Director, Bevan Group.

He added: “The main objectives included eliminating autonomous systems that ran our Finance, CRM, Aftercare and Manufacturing functions and replace them with a single fully integrated solution that would assist the streamlining of our business processes.”

K3 will supply Bevan Group with a 12-user system covering MRP, Advanced Planning & Scheduling, Field Service, CRM, Human Resources, Payroll, Time & Attendance and Shop Floor Data Capture.

“Our expectations are that SYSPRO will provide much greater control over our business and enhance our efficiency levels, as well as give us clarity of information not seen previously. Combine this with our demands for accurate and traceable Quality Assurance data and it will mutually satisfy both our customer and our internal requirements more readily,” said Lee Dimmock.

The Bevan Group provides a comprehensive commercial vehicle build, repair and maintenance service to logistics operations across the UK from its four sites in the West Midlands. The company offers a range of bodywork services, from high volume dry freight to unique designs and specialist vehicles. It has a programme of ongoing investment into each of its five business divisions to ensure a consistent and reliable quality product for a wide range of transport and operational requirements.
