HighJump Software Helps Sanimax Take Customer Service to the Next Level
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (Jan., 2010)

HighJump Software, a global provider of supply chain execution solutions, announced Sanimax is providing improved service to its customers after implementing the HighJump mobile sales and delivery applications. The company utilizes HighJump Route Administrator, HighJump Route Assistant and Usable GPS to execute its collection routes to reclaim materials such as animal by-products and used cooking oils. Sanimax renews or transforms the collected material at its North American facilities into high-demand goods such as tallow, glycerin, proteins, leather and biofuels.

Sanimax automated its Canadian operations in the initial phase of a 207-route North American roll-out. The HighJump solution was implemented in conjunction with Microsoft Dynamics®. The HighJump solution supports the company’s unique route process where the Sanimax is compensated for each pick-up and its customers are paid a commodity price for the materials collected.

The HighJump system has enabled Sanimax to reduce customer wait times and to react more quickly to customer orders as a result of optimized route scheduling and turn-by-turn GPS navigation. Sanimax can also offer customers more accurate pricing information through a real-time data transmission that incorporates pertinent mercantile commodity rates. Invoices and payments are processed more quickly as a result of the new solution.

“The system allows us to optimize our process by completing the full transaction right at the customers door step, saving us significant back office processing,” said Simon Chapleau, Vice President of Information Systems, Sanimax. “In addition, the real-time dispatch capabilities allows us to better serve customer by being able to re-route our drivers to respond to customer emergencies.”

“HighJump Software’s mobile and delivery applications support Sanimax’s unique business model, proving the flexibility of the system to work in a variety route-based businesses,” said Timothy Campbell, President, HighJump Software. “We’re pleased with the Sanimax’s initial success and look forward to watching the company achieve even greater benefits as the roll-out continues.”
