Kitchen components specialist, distributor and supplier, TK Components has chosen a new ERP system from Access Supply Chain to improve order processing, reporting, stock control and materials management. The new system is the main component of the company’s IT strategy and will handle all product sales from the initial order through to the sale and distribution of each product.

Established in 1989, TK Components has over 20 years of experience supplying the ‘Fitted Furniture Industry.’ With a staff of 80-strong, the company’s turnover is fast approaching £12 million.

“The company has grown significantly over the past 15 years, but still used the same accounting and distribution system,” said Paul Arrowsmith, financial director, TK Components. “We needed to invest in an updated ERP system to cope with the growth and future expansion of our company including the introduction of a new warehouse scanning system. Access Supply Chain offered us the best all-round flexible package for all aspects of our business.”

Craig Such, managing director of Access Supply Chain, commented, “An efficient ERP system to account for varying customer demands and detailed stock monitoring is critical. By using Access Supply Chain, TK Components will have full visibility across the company to monitor stock levels and transport costs, helping to operate efficiently, keep costs to a minimum and cater for the changing economic climate.”
