especially in Shop Floor and Warehousing applications. Smart focus adjusting and DIGITECH™ technology improve reading rate on low contrast bar codes, while ACR4™ reconstruction algorithm enhances reading performance and max tilt angle on damaged labels.
Installation and maintenance are easier than ever thanks to the innovative X-PRESS™ interface. Status and diagnostic information are clearly shown through the 5-LED bar-graph, while multi-function push button enables all relevant activities such as bar code verification (Test mode), automatic code setting (AutoLearn) and self-optimization of reading performance (AutoSetup).
Additionally, DS4800 is easily programmed through the multi-language Genius™ configuration sw. Thanks to the wizard approach and graphic add-ons, the scanner set-up is rapidly accomplished.
DS4800 is equipped with the embedded high-speed ID-NET™ communication interface. This technology allows efficient data collection without external multiplexer providing overall cost reduction and simplifying network wiring.
Extended fieldbus connectivity is available through a complete range of modular connection boxes.
The rugged full metal construction, IP65 protection, max operative temperature of 50°C (122 F°) and total immunity against ambient light make DS4800 the suitable product for main industrial applications.
