Datalogic Mobile's Website Optimized for Innovation
Bologna, 08 February 2010

Datalogic Mobile presents its newly renovated website that combines dazzling graphics with the latest in internet technology. Its new design provides space for more content to keep the user constantly updated with the latest information on the company and its innovative solutions.

From now on, more information on Datalogic Mobile and its solutions can be found on the website, starting with a simple click on the new sections of the home page. In fact, the home page now includes strategic new sections such as Datalogic Mobile in the news, Datalogic Mobile Solutions and Only @ DLM, which offer specific information on various important aspects of the company.

More direct links have also been added, making navigation faster and easier, including a RSS news feed link, which allows the user to be constantly updated on the latest news. Links have been embedded in the text on items of interest, such as Datalogic Mobile products and other web pages, so the user doesn’t have to search through the web pages to find information on the product found in the success story being read, for example. For those readers who would like to be informed of the latest news, all they need to do is click on the RSS feed link to be instantly updated.

Graphic design plays an important role in the website restyling as well. Datalogic Mobile wanted the new design to catch the eye, while making consultation easy at the same time. Therefore, the company used its product catalogs as an inspiration, with lights that illuminate the page and broad sweeping lines. The company colors draw attention to the upper and lower menu bars, making them stand out to attract attention to the main areas of importance. The home page banner has also been updated so the user can now preview all the latest news on the bottom of the main banner without waiting for it to change over.

“The World Wide Web has become an integral part of our lives, and, as such, we need to pay close attention to our website, always renewing it and making it as appealing as possible, but, more importantly, we must also remember that it is a tool for users to find updated information in the fastest and easiest way possible. We believe the newly designed website combines great aesthetics with ease of use and optimal functionality,” stated Marcello Ferrozzi, Marketing and Communications Manager of Datalogic Mobile.
