HONEYWELL SCANNING & MOBILITY BRINGS TOGETHER DISTRIBUTORS, ISVS, AND INTEGRATORS TO COLLABORATE FOR SUCCESS AT EMEA PARTNER EVENT 2012

Honeywell (NYSE:HON) today announced the successful completion of its Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) Partner Event 2012, a three-day conference with Honeywell Scanning & Mobility (HSM) executives and key industry partners aimed at helping Honeywell partners better serve their customers across all industries.

The theme of EMEA Partner Event 2012, “Powerful Together,” reinforces Honeywell’s commitment to work with their channel partners and grow the independent software vendor (ISV) community, developing solutions for HSM platforms.

“By integrating LXE into our business, we acquired a complementary rugged hand-held and vehicle-based product line that expands our presence in warehousing, manufacturing and port segments. These new products and segments will be growth drivers for our business. HSM is committed to strengthening our leadership position in the global AIDC industry with the help of our valued partner community. The successful execution of our 2012 partner event marks another step in the right direction,” said Juan Yera, sales vice president of EMEA for Honeywell Scanning & Mobility.

During the event, held at the Excelsior Grand Hotel in Malta, a wide range of educational and relationship building activities were available for attendees, including an ISV Solutions Fair which showcased innovative solutions from Honeywell’s growing ISV community. Attendees had the opportunity to take part in an interactive session with the HSM leadership team and hear from HSM subject matter experts including Jeff Taylor, transport & logistics director EMEA, and Enzo Capobianco, EMEA industry marketing manager retail. Honeywell also sponsored an inspiring lecture by Harvard Business School professor Alan MacCormack on “Managing Innovation in an Uncertain World.”
