The Barcode Warehouse includes NX Framework, bespoke mobile-data solution from DA Systems
January 2010

Foremost transportation and mobile-data software provider DA Systems is pleased to announce that it has signed a Teaming Agreement with leading supplier and systems integrator of barcode products, The Barcode Warehouse

Under this agreement, DA Systems’ bespoke mobile-data solution, NX Framework is to be included within The Barcode Warehouse’s Solutions, designed to offer best-of-breed products and services into various market verticals. This means that complete end-to-end, bespoke mobile-data solutions can be delivered, including hardware, software, airtime, technical support and repair, brought together by The Barcode Warehouse.

This latest collaboration combines DA Systems’ bespoke mobile-data solution, NX Framework, with wide ranging hardware and barcode expertise, coupled with a mobile managed solution lifecycle.

NX Framework is a unique, real-time, managed, mobile data solution; it enables the rapid development of 100% fit for purpose mobile data applications – whatever the business sector, whatever the job role. NX Framework is delivered as a managed service to reduce user costs and provides all the benefits of security, resilience and support - alleviating the need for upgrades, additional resources and new infrastructure. With NX Framework, companies can capture, receive, exchange and manage any type of job information or data, in real-time between any type of back office system and handheld device.

Based in Nottinghamshire, The Barcode Warehouse is one of the UK's leading barcode solution providers. Solutions include barcode scanners, barcode readers, label printers, plastic ID card printers, barcode printers, EPOS systems and barcode software and hardware solutions.

Commenting on the agreement, Ross Lee, chairman, The Barcode Warehouse stated; “NX Framework fits perfectly into our Solutions business. Critically, the bespoke nature of NX Framework means that customers will not need to change their business routines to fit around the solution – thus maintaining and extending their competitiveness. This strengthens our ability to bring together the latest mobile computing hardware, coupled with real-time applications for the growing number of businesses which rely on remote workers. We can now offer fully managed mobile-data solutions that have been designed specifically for each business and something that grows as they do.”

Dave Upton, managing director for DA Systems added, “The capabilities shown by The Barcode Warehouse in offering, end-to-end solutions demonstrates a close alignment with the hosted service under which NX Framework is delivered. I am very pleased to be entering into this agreement with The Barcode Warehouse and am positive that it will be a success. Finding the right solution supplier, one who can offer a complete system, is an important strategy for today’s businesses, particularly when budgets are constrained yet the desire for competitive growth is strong.”
