TSC presents new two-inch and six-inch thermotransfer label printers
Zorneding/Munich, Nov. 30, 2010.

TSC Auto ID Technology EMEA GmbH will be presenting one of the most varied portfolios of the AIDC industry with respect to robust, powerful and budget-saving thermal label printers for industry, trade and logistics at the logistics fairs easyFairs in Hamburg and LogiMAT in Stuttgart. The new two-inch thermotransfer desktop printers of the TTP-225 series as well as the six-inch thermotransfer industrial printers of the TTP-268M/366M series will have their fair premieres at these two events.

"Our spectrum ranges from very budget-friendly starter products up to high-performance platforms for industry as well as portable units for mobile label printing," says Michael Sloup, Managing Director of TSC Auto ID Technology EMEA GmbH. TSC's thermal label printers are among the most reliable and longest-lasting systems in the world so that the Taiwanese manufacturer generally gives a two-year warranty on all products.

Two fair premieres
TSC will be presenting two new product lines in Hamburg and Stuttgart: The two-inch thermal transfer label printer TTP-225 which will be launched on the European market at the end of November is immediately appealing thanks to its compact and elegant design. The TTP-225 also has a lot to offer as regards performance: It prints 2" labels at a speed of up to 5 ips at a resolution of 203 dpi and is thus faster than many competitive products - while also being less expensive. The TTP-225 is the latest addition to the two-inch printer line of TSC already on the direct thermal printing market with the TDP-225. Detailed product specifications will be available shortly.

TSC will also be setting new standards in performance, reliability and robustness with the six-inch industrial thermal transfer printer TTP-268M which will be launched in the first quarter of 2011. The TTP-268M will be available for direct thermal printing and thermal transfer printing and prints at speeds of up to 8 ips at a resolution of 203 dpi. The maximum printing width is 268 millimeters. The TTP-268M comes with a wide choice of interfaces (parallel, RS-232, USB and Ethernet) for easy integration into existing networks.

Proven models for industry and logistics
In addition to these new models, TSC will be presenting current models from its industrial printer line, including the TSC TTP-384M which was especially developed for wide-format thermal transfer label printing or direct thermal label printing of up to 241.3 millimeters with a maximum printing area of 219.5 millimeters and a high resolution of 300 dpi. It is designed for the printing of receipts, brand labels, warning signs, warehouse rack signs for inventory checks, barrel marking, etc.

TSC will also be presenting a new line of desktop label printers such as the incredibly space-saving TTP-245C series, or the TTP/TDP-247 series which currently represent the strongest printing mechanics in the industry.

TSC has twenty years of experience in the development, production and market launching of thermal label printers and can today offer one of the most varied portfolios in the AIDC industry. TSC's range of Auto ID solutions furthermore includes corresponding accessories such as hardware (keyboards, scanners, etc.), software and consumables (plastic films, wristbands, labels, etc.) as well as customised services (introduction, integration, support).

TSC will be attending easyFairs LOGISTIK in Hamburg, Hall A3, Stand B:26, from 26 to 27 January 2011. TSC will be exhibiting its AUTO ID solutions at LogiMAT in Stuttgart, Hall 3, Stand 335, from 8 to 10 February 2011.
