Intellect, the trade body for the UK’s technology industry, is again supporting the prestigious Software Satisfaction Awards, organised by Sift Media.
Now in their seventh year, the awards provide a compelling platform for software vendors to both measure and prove their commitment to excellent customer satisfaction.
The awards programme will again feature the Intellect Innovation award, which recognises new products that have delivered measurable benefits for business users or customers. Specifically the award recognises achievement in the development, sales and implementation of new software products released during the past 12 months that have attracted significant UK end-user interest.
Charles Ward, COO, Intellect said: "We are proud to support these awards, which recognise and reward excellence in the UK business software industry, and provide a reference for organisations that are looking to purchase new software applications. Last year, more than 100 entries competed across 18 award categories with just under 10,300 software users sharing their experiences in the 2011 survey. Entering the awards is a quick and simple process, taking less than five minutes. I’d strongly urge software vendors to enter and take part in one of the UK’s largest pieces of business opinion research."

Sift Media Managing Director, Tom Dunkerley, explains: “SSA12 provides more than just a chance to add a trophy to the office display cabinet. It acts as a fully independent customer satisfaction survey. This offers a valuable opportunity for software vendors to hear first-hand from their customers, enabling them to evolve and develop products to meet customer needs. After all, it’s real customers, not a judging panel, that decide the winners.”
SSA12 boosts the category count this year to include new emerging verticals such as geographical information systems, social & collaboration, and marketing automation.
