04 December 2007

Catalyst, a business unit of CDC Global Services, today announced that it has added design and implementation services for customers implementing the new Transportation Management System, SAP® TM 6.0. The new service ensures large distribution customers can manage complex transportation requirements by effectively implementing SAP’s highly advanced and comprehensive transportation management application.

Brian Thorn, Vice President of Sales and Operations for Catalyst, comments, “Catalyst is widely recognized as a thought leader in the SAP Logistics arena and we are ideally suited to help customers implement their SAP Supply Chain Management solutions. Increasing awareness of the cost and service impact of transportation on overall supply chain performance is motivating many companies to take a closer look at transportation management. This trend for examining and reorganizing transportation strategies to address the increasing challenges and global competition is driving demand for TMS applications worldwide. Catalyst is providing the expert support needed to ensure that systems are implemented, integrated and supported correctly, to ultimately deliver the benefits sought by customers.

Since 1998, Catalyst has developed the knowledge and skills to provide experienced application consulting and technical expertise for SAP LES & SCM applications. Catalyst is a certified SAP Gold Partner and is an SAP Specialty Expertise Services Partner focused on Supply Chain Execution. Catalyst is also a contributing member of SAP's LES Implementation Partner Program. Its logistics implementation experience spans across many large organizations in multiple industries such as; Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Manufacturing, Pulp and Paper Manufacturing, Food & Beverage, Retail, and High Tech.

Brian Thorn concludes, “To keep up with shrinking global boundaries and constantly changing transportation industry trends, SAP has released its most comprehensive Transportation Management offering to date.
