Datamax-O’Neil is presenting new printer solutions at LogiMAT 2010
BOURG-LÈS-VALENCE, FRANCE – February 16, 2010

Datamax-O’Neil is presenting its latest label and receipt printers for the logistics industry at LogiMAT 2010 in Stuttgart (2nd – 4th March). The highlight will be the first presentation of a new generation of printers from the MP series that is especially suited for logistics. At the Datamax-O’Neil stand 624 in hall 3, trade and business professionals can also find out about robust portable and stationary printers as well as integrated printing systems that can be used flexibly in various fields of logistics.

The compact Datamax-O’Neil printers of the MP series are suitable for application in narrow storage rooms, in delivery vehicles or in forklift trucks, thanks to their small footprint and high resilience. The sturdy metal housing reliably protects the printer from damage and shocks, enabling them to be used in the long-term even under extreme conditions. In addition, the devices are particularly efficient and user-friendly. They can be quickly and easily adapted to individual company requirements and are immediately ready to use.

“We are seeing a great demand for robust portable printer solutions in the transport and logistics sector. Many logistics service providers are automating their paper-based processes and therefore need quick and reliable technologies for creating barcode and RFID tickets,” explains

Christian Bischoff, Regional General Manager EMEA at Datamax-O’Neil. “We help them to become significantly more efficient and productive in the course of this development. Following the take-over of the Data Systems Division from Extech Instruments, we are in an even better position to do this through our extended portfolio of portable printers.” This acquisition in December 2009 saw Datamax-O’Neil take over one of the leading providers of portable printers and further extend its expertise.
