QVC® Selects Manhattan Associates to Optimise Multichannel Supply Chain Network
ATLANTA — February 22, 2010

QVC, Inc., one of the largest multimedia retailers in the world, has selected solutions from the Manhattan SCOPE® supply chain process platform to help optimise its supply chain network. QVC—which over the past 23 years has shipped more than 1 billion packages in the United States alone— selected
Manhattan Associates’ (NASDAQ: MANH) Warehouse Management and Labour Management solutions for its distribution centre (DC) in Florence, South Carolina, with plans to roll out in its other domestic DCs in Lancaster, Pennsylvania; Rocky Mount, North Carolina; and Suffolk, Virginia.

“Manhattan Associates will play a key role in our continuing IT transformation,” said John Sullivan, executive vice president and chief information officer, QVC. “Streamlining our distribution processes with the Manhattan platform will enable QVC to expand its distribution capacity and reach new fulfilment levels across every selling channel.”

Manhattan’s Warehouse Management and Labour Management solutions are part of the Distribution Management solution suite within the Manhattan SCOPE supply chain process platform, designed to leverage the spectrum of people, tasks and events across the supply chain for the most efficient and accurate performance possible. SCOPE's modular service-oriented architecture facilitates the creation of cross-suite applications to address specific requirements for the goals of each Manhattan customer.

“QVC is one of the largest and most innovative multimedia retailers in the world and perhaps the best example of the potential of optimised multichannel retailing,” said Pete Sinisgalli, president and chief executive officer, Manhattan Associates. “Manhattan SCOPE solutions are designed to help leading retailers like QVC reach new levels of service to its customers, vendors and partners.”
