BROTHER STRENGTHENS MOBILE PRINTING RANGE TO IMPROVE PRODUCTIVITY OF LOGISTICS WORKERS

Brother is expanding its range of mobile printing solutions to support logistics and warehouse workers requiring high quality on-site print outs in busy, fast-paced environments.

Brother’s RJ series provides a robust, durable mobile print solution, designed to produce fast, reliable results whilst withstanding harsh conditions. It enables logistics and warehouse workers to confirm and complete transactions anywhere and provides customers with professional looking documents.

Efficiency in logistic working procedures is a constant priority and the RJ 4030 and RJ 4040 printers are designed to make mobile printing as efficient as possible. Producing 4” sized receipts and labels using direct thermal technology, there is no need for ink or toner – a perfect solution for producing print outs such as customer invoices, sales orders and confirmations and receipts. The machines also offer fast print speeds of 127.4mm/second and high level of connectivity (the RJ-4040 has USB, serial and wireless) ensuring workers can produce high quality print outs, wherever they are working from.

As well as being efficient, it is essential that technology designed for the logistics and warehouse industry can withstand tough working conditions. The RJ range has IP45 accreditation, which is an industry recognised durability rating, and has also been tested by surviving a 1.8 metre drop test.
BROTHER STRENGTHENS MOBILE PRINTING RANGE TO IMPROVE PRODUCTIVITY OF LOGISTICS WORKERS

Workers in this sector are constantly on the move either in warehouses or delivering to clients, so the machines are designed to be portable and the printers are also lighter than many competitor models, weighing only 850g.

The wide range of available accessories can be used to further tailor the printers to meet the needs of specific workers, for example, the in-car mount provides ease of use when on the road, and a choice of power options provides flexibility, including rechargeable batteries or vehicle power kits.

Phil Jones, sales and marketing director at Brother UK, said, “Reducing stages in working procedures is essential in the logistics industry, to ensure a competitive edge.

“The Brother RJ series provides an efficient and durable printing technology which contributes to the reduction in the time of the supply chain, from warehouse to customer.”
