Brook Street Foods chooses BCP’s Accord®
April 2012

Foodservice wholesaler, Brook Street Foods, is making a significant investment in a 14 user end-to-end Accord® Distribution System including Voice directed Warehouse Management from supply chain solutions specialist, BCP, to help support its continued growth.

Founded in 1990, Brook Street Foods has grown to become one of the key suppliers of pre-packaged meat and other ambient, chilled and frozen food products to the catering trade in East Anglia, South East Midlands and London. Customers include schools, restaurants, hotels, caterers and contract caterers.

BCP has a long pedigree in delivering powerful, proven IT solutions to the wholesale distribution industry and has been a leader in introducing Voice technology to the UK market. Key clients include BWG, Musgrave, SPAR, T Quality and Creed Catering.

With a steadily increasing customer base, the acquisition of a number of smaller companies and plans for further growth and expansion, Brook Street Foods made a strategic decision to modernise its largely paper based systems and introduce a fully functional, sector specific, integrated ERP and CRM software solution to support this growth, improve efficiencies and eliminate time consuming manual processes.
Brook Street Foods chooses BCP

The investment covers BCP’s complete Accord® solution, including Purchasing, Sales Order Management, Stock Control, Telesales, Financial Accounting, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and BCP’s market leading wall-to-wall Accord® Voice WMS. The system is being implemented in phases with the first stage due to go live over the course of the next few weeks.

Key to securing the contract was the powerful functionality available within Accord®, together with BCP’s reputation as a market leader in the foodservice sector with an impressive track record of delivering successful implementations.

Mark Huggins, Operations Director at Brook Street Foods: “Accord® is a brilliant match to our needs and I’m looking forward to completing the installation in order to make full use of its powerful functionality.”
