appoints director
of international communications strategy

Leading supply chain solutions provider, Manhattan Associates, Inc. (NASDAQ: MANH), has announced the appointment of John Bird to the position of director, international communications strategy. The role will include responsibility for all public relations activities in EMEA and the Asia Pacific region.

The role will include responsibility for all public relations activities in EMEA and the Asia Pacific region. Mr. Bird's core focus will be the formulation of the company's communications strategy and leading a cross-functional team to maximise the company's communications effectiveness in both established and recently entered markets.
Mr. Bird joined Manhattan Associates in December 2001. In his previous role with the company as communications manager, Mr Bird spearheaded Manhattan Associates' European and subsequently EMEA-wide public relations programme. With a background in the supply chain industry that spans 18 years and several companies including TNT and TDG as well as Qiva before its acquisition by Tradebeam, Mr. Bird is well positioned to promote the company's credentials in being able to help manufacturers, distributors, logistics services providers and retailers to optimise supply chain performance.
