3rd September, 2009

Varlink, the York based specialist Mobile Computing and Data Capture hardware is delighted to report that for the third time running has been short listed for a prestigious industry award. The judges of the CRN Channel Awards have selected Varlink as a nominee in the Specialist Distributor category, stating that “this Award recognises distributors that are focused on a “specialist” area of the market and recognise the overall service and support provided to resellers taking into account product focus and choice, availability and distribution services, pre- and post-sales support, market development assistance and online capabilities.”

Varlink is one of eight companies competing for this national award and is the only company entirely specialising in Mobile Computing & Data Capture products. The awards ceremony is to be staged at the Battersea Park Arena in London on November 19th.

Mike Pullon, Varlink’s CEO, commented “We have worked hard to continue the development of the business so that our customers want to increase their level of business with us. It is gratifying that the judges have recognised our efforts by including Varlink on their shortlist .”

Sabine Kelly, Marketing Manager at Varlink added “We are delighted to have made it to the shortlist again. The CRN Channel Awards is the industry’s largest and most respected event and means a great deal to the whole team. This nomination is a powerful testimony that Varlink has worked hard in providing outstanding levels of customer service, recognised by vendors and resellers alike.”
