LTH Castings Implements Infor ERP LN And Infor AutoConnect To Optimize Business Process Efficiency
Farnborough, UK – 2010

Infor, the leading provider of business applications to mid-sized companies, today announced that LTH Castings will upgrade to Infor ERP LN. The Slovenian specialist in the conception, high pressure die-casting, machining, surface treatment and assembly of products in aluminum and magnesium will also implement Infor AutoConnect, a fully automated automotive solution for electronic data interchange (EDI), order management and shipping management. With these two industry focused solutions, LTH Castings can benefit from integrated and streamlined business processes such as simplified EDI mapping and integrated customer order processing. LTH Castings plans to go live with Infor ERP LN and Infor AutoConnect in April 2011.

News • LTH is currently running Infor ERP BaanIV. In addition, LTH has been using several cost-intensive third-party solutions to meet complex automotive requirements. LTH Castings will now start the ERP LN upgrade project, replacing the third-party solutions with Infor AutoConnect.
• AutoConnect is a strategic Infor automotive solution that will help LTH Castings to streamline the automotive business processes based on Infor ERP LN. Infor AutoConnect offers fully automated, fully integrated electronic data interchange (EDI), order management and shipping management.
• Constantly changing mandates from multiple trading partners are a significant burden for automotive suppliers; that is why AutoConnect includes complex business rules for numerous trading partners right out of the box. If a customer mandates a change involving an EDI document, barcode label, bill of lading, or another requirement, this solution handles it automatically, enabling LTH Castings to focus on expanding and diversifying their manufacturing and customer base.
• LTH Castings consists of production sites in Škofja Loka (headquarters) and Ljubljana, and has further plants in Croatia and in Macedonia. The facility manufactures a wide range of high specification automotive components (aluminum and magnesium), such as transmission and engine components, steering and breaking systems components. With its multi-site set-up, Infor LN will provide LTH Castings with greater visibility into operations, supply and demand chains, as well as greater flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing markets and new customer demands.

What LTH Castings Says
“With Infor ERP LN and Infor AutoConnect we will benefit from a fully integrated solution without complex interfaces or redundant data processing," says Lado Tomše, IT Manager at LTH. “Especially all our EDI processes, our logistic processes and the communication with our customers will be simplified.”

What We Say
"With Infor ERP LN and Infor Auto Connect, LTH Castings will be able to make faster and smarter decisions while being consistently innovative in their product offerings. The combined solution should also be help to develop stronger, more dynamic supply chains and become more responsive to new requirements," comments Wolfram Schmid, Director Solution Marketing Automotive at Infor.
