MILWAUKEE, Wis. - October 21, 2008
RedPrairie Corporation, a leading consumer driven optimization company, has announced its intentions to become an integral partner in the development of a Delafield, Wisconsin-based technology park, in partnership with RP Technology Development Group, LLC. With offices around the globe, RedPrairie has been headquartered in Wisconsin since its founding in 1975.
“We have a long standing commitment to this area and are excited about a new Wisconsin-based location,” said Mike Mayoras, CEO of RedPrairie.
“With our current Waukesha leasing arrangement nearing conclusion, we have evaluated a variety of possible scenarios. We found the RP Technology Development Group to be very interested and aggressive in creating a solution that will allow RedPrairie to remain close to its current location. Simply put, we find this to be the best balance of location, amenities and cost.”
“It is time that RedPrairie created an office space more appropriately matched to our growing and changing organization,” Mayoras said.
Over the last few years, RedPrairie has transitioned from a regional warehouse management system provider to a global supply-chain execution and retail store operations solutions company, proud to serve many of the world’s largest and most progressive organizations. Details of the planned development, to be located on the south side of I-94 and County Highway C, will be determined in the coming weeks. The building is expected to provide approximately 120,000 square feet of office space and will be the largest of the four Phase I buildings. In addition, new building techniques will be utilized to create an environmentally friendly building that complements the surrounding area, while supporting the dynamic and collaborative culture of RedPrairie. Occupancy is expected to begin in the fall of 2010.
